A volunteer who submitted signatures on behalf of Cynthia Sterling and other candidates for the June primary election was charged with voter fraud July 21. In a report appearing on KSEE-24 news July 21, Fresno County Clerk Victor Salazar said, "In no way is there any indication that the candidates themselves have any culpability" in this matter.
